Mr. Zhao Jiancai Visited Luxembourg Delegation in China International Logistics Expo

From June 17 to 19, the sixth China International Logistics Expo was held in Shanghai. The Henan delegation headed by Vice Governor Zhao Jiancai attended the Expo. Mr. Zhao Jiancai also held talks with Luxembourg Sustainable Development and Infrastructure Minister Fran?ois Bausch, who led the delegation to participate in the Expo as well. Both sides are satisfied with the successful cooperation and progress of the Sino-Europe freight dual-hub, and made a further discussion on expanding future cooperation in various fields of aviation economy. Mr. Zhang Mingchao, the Chairman of HNCA, and Mr. Yue Guoyong, the Vice General Manager of HNCA, led the delegation to participate in the Expo and attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr. Zhao Jiancai was glad to meet the Luxembourg delegation in Shanghai. He said，it was imperative to establish strategic cooperation under the fierce competition in international market. On January 14, 2014, HNCA and Cargolux signed the Share Purchase Agreement in Zhengzhou, formally identifying the “dual-hub” strategic cooperation model. The cooperation focused on long-term development and mutual benefit. Governments of the two parties have attached great importance and provided strong support to it. Since the agreement was signed, both sides have made smooth progress in cooperation and set up efficient communication and coordination mechanism. The perfection of Cargolux’s organization structure has provided operation safeguard for the business development. After opening the route between Zhengzhou and Luxembourg, the freight volumes of round-trip flight are over 100 tons, which indicates that enormous potentials remain untapped in our cooperation and the “dual-hub” strategy is fruitful. With the efforts of both sides, we hope to promote the full implementation of this strategy. The collaboration is a good start, then, based on the route between Zhengzhou and Luxembourg, we should explore new fields of cooperation and make further promotion of the economy and trade, exchange of culture and tourism between China and Europe, especially between Henan and Europe.      

Mr. Bausch pointed out that, HNCA purchased 35% shares from Cargolux was a great beginning, and would bring more opportunities for the approaching cooperation. The implementation of “dual-hub” strategy got positive responding in Luxembourg. We were confident in the future development, and through the endeavor of both sides, we were sincere to promote the expansion of cooperation in airport hub, international trade, culture and tourism etc. between Luxembourg and Henan.    

Before the meeting, Mr. Zhao Jiancai came to the exhibition of Henan enterprises and inquired their situation in this Expo. He encouraged the enterprises to seize the opportunity, make promotion and attempt to make new contribution to the construction of big logistics and big hub for Henan.

Mr. Zhang Mingchao said, this Expo we attended jointly with Cargolux was various and innovative, which presented our new outlook after cooperation. The good collaboration also indicates that further expansion of the business will be made in future.
